Hannah McClune Photography has shared Rachel & Gavin's Country Wedding filled with twee copper details and show-stopping blooms.
Bridal preparations began at a stylish house in Cookham, complete with matching robes for the bridesmaids and the most beautifully dainty copper-detailed shoes.
The Wedding took place at Lillibrooke Manor, with the ceremony commencing under an impressive, ditsy floral arch. More copper details flooded the tables in the form of painted jars and tins filled with blooms and succulents.
While guests sipped drinks and dined on hearty canapés, a magician shocked and wowed Rachel & Gavin's guests.
Into the venue, draped with fairy lights and paper lanterns, guests took their seats for the feast. The couple opted for elegant golden chairs with beige seat pads to add a regal twist to the beautifully rustic barn.

This week we're sharing something a little different here on Wedding Shed! Have you ever been at a party where everything was perfect apart from the music? It really ruins the vibe doesn't it...
Organising your evening entertainment may not seem like a huge priority with your growing to-do list, but picture that moment when you're ready to let your hair down and your music isn't quite like you'd hoped.
We caught up with Tailored Entertainment to chat all things music, here's five of their favourite UK bands right now!
Choosing the perfect wedding band can be a bit of an uphill struggle at times. There’s just so many to choose from! Here at Tailored Entertainment, we’ve gathered decades of experience helping countless brides and grooms with their wedding band searches, and many have described it as the toughest decision they’ve had to make during their wedding planning! Over on our blog, we’ve been trying to make life a little easier for happy couples planning their weddings with plenty of helpful tips for choosing the perfect band. That’s why the good folks at Wedding Shed asked us to do the same right here!
So below you’ll find five of our hottest bands of this summer. Five bands that have been light up wedding nights across the country. Five bands that could be yours for next summer, and beyond! Let’s get started, shall we?
The Heights are quickly developing a reputation as one of the very finest Midlands wedding bands. Five peerless session musicians, one of which was recently seen on The BBC’s ‘The Voice’, offer up a set list packed to bursting with unforgettable pop songs, both classic and contemporary. However, what really sets them apart from the rest of the Birmingham wedding bands is their use of cutting edge music sampling technology, the result of which is a scintillating live delivery beyond anything you will have experienced before.
Just for Tonight
Another fabulous wedding band in The Midlands, offering a very different sound and style; the fantastic Just For Tonight. The perfect addition to a rustic wedding setting, Just For Tonight bring a folky, roots-driven vibe to a host of much loved pop songs; all lovingly reimagined to the tune of double bass, banjo and soaring vocal harmony. Their second set is an electrifying indie-rock finale, reminiscent of your favourite festival headliners. These guys are proving to be one of our most in-demand bands for 2017.
Heading a little further up the M1 for a moment, we’ve got Soul Unit – one of the biggest, most popular wedding bands in Yorkshire. A stunning seven-piece live band offering two hours of incredible neo-soul – all with poise, style and incredible groove. There’s nothing quite like the sound of live horns and an incredible lead singer performing the very best Motown tunes from across the decades. For a seven-piece show band, these guys are surprisingly reasonable in price! There’s no other Yorkshire wedding band that quite compare.
For Wonderfolk, it’s all in the name. Pure, joyous, beautiful folk music. One of our leading Manchester wedding bands these boys bring their gorgeous sound to bare on a host of well-known songs – Rod Stewart, REM and Mumford all get the Wonderfolk treatment with lilting mandolin and a beguiling lead singer. These guys are a real treat of a band, proving a huge hit for happy couples across the North West and beyond.
Sega and the Boombox
How about something a little different? Sega & The Boombox are fast becoming our favourite band here at Tailored, and we’re not the only ones falling in love with them – they’re taking the London wedding band scene by storm. This hip-as-hell six piece specialize in perfect 90s pop – from The Spice Girls to Fresh Prince, this remarkable band fires out all your favourite tunes directly from your childhood. Fiery, fresh and tonnes of fun – they’re guaranteed to pack the dancefloor from first song to last.
So there you have it. Five incredible bands that’ll hopefully give you food for thought when you’re thinking about live music for your big day. Whether one of these awesome acts looks perfect for you, or you’ve got something a little different in mind – give us a call on 0800 564 2240 to chat about how we can help you find the perfect wedding band or email us on email@example.com. There are so many romantic real wedding features, superb suppliers and hand picked products that you might think Wedding Shed is run by a whole army of wedding-loving elves. Not quite the case, Wedding Shed is run by just two wedding-loving elves, who happen to be twin sisters living in Berkshire.
Today's post is written by Jasmine, the one minute younger half of the team, who brings her 4 years experience as an Event Manager to Wedding Shed and will be showing you 4 top tips to choosing a Theme.
Choosing a Wedding theme can be hard, even for an Event Manager. Friends and family joke about how easy it will be for me to plan my own Wedding, but that is absolutely not the case. Quite the opposite really - being exposed to so many fantastic themes and ideas means that it’s even harder to choose. So, how do you go about choosing a theme for your Wedding?
Choose your venue first!
It isn’t wise to completely decide on your theme until you’ve chosen your venue. There are two reasons behind this advice; firstly, not all themes suit all venues. The wonderful Tithe Barn at Ufton Court is perfectly suited to subtle, rustic, country and romantic themes, whereas if you were to opt for an ultra-slick and modern venue, these themes could look out of place. Secondly, your venue speaks 1000 words. Some venues require minimal theming and decoration, so it is always recommended to choose your venue and conduct multiple site visits to work out exactly how much theming you will need to do.
You may be an uber organised individual who knows their theme before anything else has been decided and this is fine too - but it’s good to bare in mind that your theme might need to be tweaked once your venue has been booked.
Your theme should reflect you!
Your Wedding Day is YOUR Wedding Day. Why choose a regal gold and red theme if you have a passion for the countryside and live on a farm? Choose a theme that means something to the two of you, that makes you feel happy and is something that you’re comfortable with. Take a look in your wardrobe, admire your home decor or take a trip down memory lane; brainstorm your likes and dislikes and your fondest memories and you’ll soon be well on your way to choosing your Wedding theme. For example, your first date might have been to the British Seaside, and that can totally be a theme! Picture stick of rock favours, soft blue and sandy beige hues with fish and chip cone canapés. Once you start mapping ideas, you’ll have a bank of keywords to begin searching in Pinterest or looking up on our Real Weddings for inspiration.
Colour scheme your theme!
Naturally, once your theme has been decided it’s time to pick your palette. Colour scheming is a great way to tie all aspects of your day together, whether that’s for your floral decorations, your bridesmaid dresses or your Wedding Cake. Colour scheming helps create a sense of cohesion and defines your theme.
You don’t have to go colour crazy, though. Picking up colour in subtle ways, such as the ribbons on the back of your chairs, your linen napkins adorning the dining tables or even the varnish on your nails, can bring your theme to life without being over the top. Eden Blooms are wonderful at utilising your colour scheme delicately throughout your floral arrangements.
Themes aren't just for décor, they're for suppliers too!
To some extent, your suppliers can be chosen to complement your theme. If you’ve got a whimsical and quirky theme, choose a cocktail mixologist to wow guests on arrival. If your theme is strictly British and full of country delights, opt for a caterer to mirror that such as The Wild Fork. It’s important to tie all aspects of your day to your theme and if you don’t bare your theme in mind when choosing your suppliers you might risk the day feeling a little disjointed.
