Who are Husk Marquees?

Husk Marquees is based locally, in South Oxfordshire. Built on a passion for events and a background of providing excellent customer experience, something which we endeavour to carry through till after the event. We offer a brand new product to the industry; the Cruck Tent, which in essence fuses together medieval design principles with modern practicality and style. We are incredibly proud to offer this beautiful structure to wedding couples from 2021 and can't wait to create memorable experiences under our canvas.

The History Behind The Cruck Tent

The Cruck Tent was designed in the UK as a new unique offering to the marquee industry. The Cruck frame was designed during historical England and used for timber-framed houses and barns. Many of these barns have been turned into wonderful wedding venues up and down the country today. In the making for over 2 years, the Cruck Tent has been designed to retain the historic features and the grandeur of the frame whilst creating a product that can be easily assembled and transported.

Our Offer

Wedding couples are looking for more and more unique ideas for their wedding, something which we aim to fulfil. Providing flexibility in our products from size, themes and internal furnishings we are able to work with our wedding couples to build their day from the ground up. The Cruck comes in a standard width of 16 meters, this is the end profile which you see with the panoramic gable walls. We like to position this end to face guests as the meet the marquee, it provides a real wow factor and an amazing first impression. The marquee is scalable lengthways in 3 bays depending on the size of your event. Inside, we provide a number of panoramic side walls to add to an already light and airy atmosphere.

Furnishings

We call this 'Filling in the Canvas'. We start by laying down our high quality coconut matting, this has been specifically chosen to tie in the with the rest of the structure. We also offer a range of furnishings to bring your event to life; from bespoke circular bars and outdoor fire pits to add focal point for guests, to a choice of furniture to suit your theme. We also work with a high end linen supplier and give our clients a choice of different textures and colours to fit in with the rest of their day. All these small but significant details are walked through with you by one of our team and help bring your day to life.

Behind The Scenes

We are also able to offer our clients all of the back of house elements for your wedding. Depending on your chosen caterer, they usually need a kitchen area as well as refrigerated trailers, both of which we can provide. Furthermore, like with our front of house furnishings, we have a number of great relationships with local suppliers to supply any other requirements for an added piece of mind that you will receive the same level of customer service and quality of products in the rest of our offering.
We are looking forward to 2021 when events are (hopefully!) back in full swing. Please visit our website and get in touch today to start your journey.
