Lovely Shannon from SLR Photography has kindly shared the wedding of Dave & Chloe at Ufton Court. This wedding is actually quite a special one as I was part of the Ufton Court team last year, so I helped with the set-up in the morning along-side caterers The Wild Fork. I can safely say Shannon has captured every last little detail so perfectly including the floral magic created by Green Parlour!
I always love to see the couples' way of letting their guests know they'll be getting up to! I've personally never seen it showcased like this but I love this timeline themed blackboard - very creative!
There was definitely a countryside-chic vibe to Dave & Chloe's day with hay bales, hessian, ditsy flowers and rustic accessories.
Ufton Court's tithe barn was beautiful as always with their hessian bunting streamed through the rafters. The Calcutta chairs were draped with sheer chiffon accented with posies of baby's breath.
The bridesmaids' dressers were kept simple, summery and elegant with a little bit of sparkle round the waist. A pale cornflower blue worked perfectly with peach which tied in to the couples floral table arrangements.
The lavender in the barn courtyard was in full bloom, adding to the rustic charm.
Chloe & Dave went for long trestle tables which The Wild Fork laid with simple crisp white linen and shining glassware. Pots of lavender were contrasted against fuller bouquets with hints of peach and coral.
I love the fact Dave & Chloe went for a combo of pork pie & a cheese tower instead of a classic wedding cake. It added to their theme and I'm sure it was delicious!
The Wild Fork really went all out with the wedding menu. They started with delicious canapés including, red pepper piperade, quails scotch eggs and spiced apple chutney. Guests then indulged in a red onion and goats cheese starter followed by beef wellington with bowls of crispy new potatoes and asparagus. Dessert was afternoon tea of warm fruit and plain scones, coloured meringues, clotted cream and brownies - YUM.
